The Friendship Circle extends a helping hand to children who have special needs and their families by involving them in a full range of social, Judaic, and educational experiences.
This program connects young professionals with young adults with special needs for inclusive, recreational, and vocational opportunities and to hang out with friends!
FC Hangouts consists of monthly, laid back , inclusive hangouts in the house and outside the center.
The next Hangout event will be on March 21st at 7pm at the Glazier Jewish Center for a fun fondu and game night!
This is a monthly event wherein the children, volunteers and staff come together for special activities. As they drop their children off in capable hands, moms and dads get to enjoy some free time to themselves.

Friends at Home
This weekly program has teenage volunteers spending quality time with children with special needs in the environment the kids are most comfortable and familiar with: their own homes. A unique bond is established between the volunteers and their friends. The range of activities shared can be anything from cookie-baking to arts & crafts, story-time to hide-and-seek.
1 hour weekly at a time that suits you and the volunteer.
*A parent must be home the entire time a F@H volunteer is present.
Family Holiday Programs
The Friendship Circle Holiday Programs bring the Holidays alive for children with special needs and their families. Whether it’s making menorahs for Chanukah or baking Hamantaschen for Purim, the Friendship Circle holiday programs are full of excitement, action, and hands on fun.
Seasonal, The whole family is invited to participate!
